Synchronization upgraded!
An update to controller & synchronization is live! First of all, we greatly improved the way the server predicts your actions. Characters are now synchronized much more precisely, which in effect enhances the Gloria Victis open world PVP experience.
Responsiveness overhaul Improved synchronization allowed us to increase responsiveness of the controller for moving and fighting and rotating camera. We have overhauled the camera as well to give you more control over your avatar. The last but not least: servers’ performance and network traffic have been significantly optimized. Get into a battle and check these changes on your own! While our programmers were preparing the controller & synchronization improvements, design department has been working on the world expansion which just hit the servers!Besides of 30% more lands, there are also six new settlements to capture, including two massive castles close to the Azebian areas. New lands reflect the “link” between Midlandic and Ismirean faction-based castles, significantly improving the world PVP balance. Axes in hands, warriors!
Titles system & new Glory season
Moreover, previous update introduced the titles system and start of new Glory season! Besides of titles for special achievements done in game, there are completely unique titles for the best players of the Glory leaderboard as well. We have also added brand new armors sets which can be obtained only from the Glory vendors. Fight for your fame - Glory awaits!
Enjoy the improved combat & synchronization and new lands with new impressive castles and tons of precious resources and fight enemies to advance in the Glory leaderboard! There are also 40 new questlines near the Dead Raven Inn, as well as brand new unique treasure chests to collect. More chests you have collected, better loot you will earn! New nation – the Azebian Empire! A just-applied update has introduced the long-awaited Azebian Empire! This new playable nation comes with their very own city and questlines. Of course, there are also new areas to see and explore, so prepare for a journey!
The new face of war There are also brand new mobs and bosses roaming the surrounding lands, spawning in at random times & places – scout them to gain precious loot! The AI has been reworked as well, bringing in the new animations for NPCs, strafing and blocking mechanics. These changes bring the NPCs more to life and create a much more immersive feel and challenge to PvE combat.
What are we working on? We have also implemented new crafting items and features, such as the possibility for players to disassemble their items, which will recover some scrap materials for crafting, 70 new items to loot and craft, and some changes based on community feedback, such as lowering the necessary fuels for crafting and taxes.
